Thrown for a loop Helloooo! It's another Monday, a hype day and another fantastic start to yet another week. This week has honestly been a bit of a struggle but exciting none the less.   I've run into some bike problems, nothing too big just some flats. The main issue was... when we fixed up the tire I went to ride it to an appointment, it worked just as it should. When we got ready to ride back I check my tires and it's flat again. I have no clue how it happened but the brand new tube lasted about 10 minutes haha. I never got the chance to check the tube for holes because my tire was flat and we were a 30 minute walk away from our apartment. I had a hand pump on me so we biked, stopped to pump, biked, stopped to pump. But as I was riding, I was about to get off and pump it up again, then it popped... yeah my flat tire popped. I saw white dust come out, from that point it held no air. I later found out the part where the valve attaches to the tube tore open. We had to wait ...

Locked and Loaded   Hello! This week blew by, I guess I was just so focused on the work time just passed on by. I definitely enjoyed it though, we had a mission tour this week. It's a zone conference with a general authority present. We had Elder Meredith  and I liked him. He was very lively and funny.    We had to push back a baptism for a 9 year old we're teaching, we have a couple more lessons we have to teach her and our bishop wants to invite people to attend. Her family is really active and she has a decent memory. When we teach her, there are about 5 kids the parents have sit in. These kids are super fun but it's hard for them to focus sometimes. We have some object lessons we use to try to get them to focus. I love teaching them and they love the missionaries, they always want to ride our bikes because they haven't seen a bike so big before. Their whole family is just fun.    The crazy part of my week was visiting a member's home. They love the miss...

Well hello, hello, How are y'all? This week was pretty nice, the weather was nice and rainy. I love the rainy weather, that might change once I experience a severe storm. This week is going to cook us alive, gonna hit 99°. That plus humidity, it's gonna be a sauna up in here. I'm excited for the experience none the less     We haven't had too many service opportunities since I got here but this week we had some solid service. A lot of people pay to have people cut up trees, logs, and branches cuz trees often fall down and get in the way. Well after everything was cut up they just left a huge pile of wood. So that's where we come in, we helped them move a ton of wood from their backyard to the front yard on the curb where the city comes to pick it up. Now that I think about it, that's probably one of the reasons why this city looks trashed. People treat the curb like a dump, well because it is, the city comes and gets it eventually so I guess it's aight. Serv...

We straight up hooping  Ayyyy what's good? I hope y'all are having a wonderful start to your week. Not too much crazy this week, just a typical Memphis week   We had a good week with regards to finding and teaching. We found Tee and his wife Martha by knocking their door, the first time we knocked though she said "yeah I'm interested but come back later, I'm drinking." Next week we go by again, same response. 3rd times the charm and she let us in, we taught the Restoration and they liked it. Super cool lesson and they said they would start studying the Book of Mormon together.    We had a very cool Thursday this week. We have a Ward Basketball night, we use this to invite people we meet to come play at the church. It's a super easy way to get non-members to the church in a natural way. We had a guy bring 4 of his friends and we balled up with them and a few others from our ward. The guy we invited was really good at dribbling and it was fun to watch, I sa...
