Members are bomb!

Hello, hello, hope ya'll are doing pretty good. This week has blown by, like what?! Where has the week gone? Like for real the days are long, weeks are short. I know you've heard that many times but that's just cuz it's facts.

This week has been full of miracles and awesome lessons! My comp is pushing me to be involved and gives me plenty of chances to lead discussions. He's teaching me so much and I appreciate it so much. This weeks lessons have been so powerful, I love sharing my testimony. I may not know the lesson very well sometimes but when I share my testimony, I feel so calm and happy, I was almost brought to tears 1 time. I just love this gospel so much! Sharing my testimony is the best part of every lesson no matter how simple it is. Along the lessons are going really well and our friends are showing lots of interests, the people just don't do what they say. For example we had 8 people committed to church this Sunday. They even said they were coming that Sunday morning. Well.. only 3 showed up. Which is still good to have, love seeing em there.

We got to actually see our ward this Sunday, it's very small but the members are all awesome. They all have such fun characters. Don't even get me started on bishop, he's so funny and animated. He loves the gospel and said he'd walk of a cliff for Jesus. He also mentioned the story of Peter and how he denied Jesus 3 times. He said if he was in Jesus's shoes he woulda "beat him up on the spot." The people here are hilarious. The amount of laughter and jokes this culture has is so funny. The people are so interactive in conversations, they interrupt you all the time to add something. Makes it really easy to talk to em. Oh! Prayers are interesting too. When ever you say something they completely agree with they go, Mmmm hmm really loudly. Its kinda awesome haha.

We got 2 people on date for baptism, Wahoo! Lots of people want to be baptized and know they should, there's just so many hoops to jump through. For example one of the people that wants to be baptized is a meth addict. We will do our best to put this in her past. There was another guy we taught, his name was Junior. He was so scary, he was a super nice guy but the way he talked, jee whiz. It really felt like he was gonna punch me, but he was speaking truth.

I went roller skating for the first time today and got some really cheap T-shirts. One of em was 3 dollars, had to snag it. But anyway back to the skates, it's pretty hard at first, but it's so fun. It's almost impossible to do without falling but I enjoyed it a lot. I'll get a clip of it later this week.

Oki doki, last thing. You learn to be very resourceful on a mission. I had flip flops to wear around the apartment, cuz the floor isn't the greatest. The issue was I couldn't wear socks with them comfortably. So I cut an extra hand towel I had, pinned and glued it to each side and made my own slides! I know it's ridiculous but I like em.

This weeks word/phrase is...
-Memphis shuffle

This is basically a nickname for jaywalking. But here they do it as if there's no cars in the street. They casually walk across with no regards to any danger.

That's all this time around, enjoy your week, life is fun. I love yall. Don't forget to smile... until next time... BYE!!! ___________________________________________
